Established in 2006, BAZ Publishing aims to meet the growing demand for publishing while preserving Oman’s rich traditional heritage. Our focus is on producing high-quality books that not only celebrate Oman’s cultural legacy but also promote it as a distinctive destination.
Our inaugural publication, "Oman, My Beautiful Country" by Mohammad Al Zubair, was launched in five languages: Arabic, English, German, French, and Japanese. This book is a photographic journey across Oman, showcasing the country’s stunning and diverse landscapes. Available as both a large coffee table edition and a smaller concise version, it has become a bestseller and continues to be one of the most popular books about Oman.
The second installment, "Landscapes of Dhofar," is another captivating photographic study by Mohammad Al Zubair, focusing on Oman’s southernmost region.
Next in line is "Oman - Ancient Civilization: Modern Nation - Towards a Knowledge and Service Economy," co-authored by Professor Vincent McBrierty and Mohammad Al Zubair. This book explores Oman’s economic evolution over six millennia.
The third entry in the "My Beautiful Country" series by Mohammad Al Zubair is "Mountains and Wadis of Oman," highlighting the nation's dramatic and awe-inspiring geography. It is available in a luxurious edition in Arabic and English, which includes selected poetry that complements the visuals, as well as in an international edition in Arabic, English, French, and German.
Continuing the series is "Omani Moments," also by Mohammad Al Zubair, developed from the exhibition "Face To Face." This book celebrates the people of Oman, showcasing individual personalities and traditional occasions.
"The Art of Barr Al Jissah" by Sarah White is the first book in English on contemporary Omani art. Published to commemorate Muscat as the Cultural Capital of the Arab World in 2006, it highlights artworks created for the Shangri-La’s Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa.
In honor of the 40th National Day, "Window on Oman" by Mohammad Al Zubair was released, offering an exquisite glimpse into Oman’s beauty. Available in Arabic, English, French, German, and Italian, it is perfect for sharing Oman’s charm with friends and family.
